Tree Plantation Activity
“It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men’s hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.”
State Public School , Jalandhar Cantt. observed Tree Plantation activity for the sake of nature and humanity. The students planted 100 plants with the help of various units of Jalandhar Cantt. and took the pledge to make the surrounding a better place to live by making it greener and safer place to live. The activity drive to plant the sapling was done by students of classes 3 to 5. Various rank holders like Deputy Commander , Major Camp Commandant along with JCO's and jawans became the part of the marvelous tree plantation drive.
The students know very well the dramatic role trees have in one’s life and how they purify air and help us to breath pure and clean air.
The President and Vice-President of Group of State Public Schools, Dr. Narotam Singh and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur along with Mrs. Savina Bahl, motivated the students to come forward and do the needful to society.
